Moore Bmx Podcast

Good timing and a chain of events can lead you to some awesome places as I explained in my recent podcast appearance with Brant Moore, which I became a guest on through a chain of events from us first meeting only three weeks before at the Nowear Bmx Jam. Since meeting Brant he feels so familiar, like I’ve known him for years. Perhaps is his pure breed passion for bmx and filming, which we have in common, combined with being such a nice guy!

In recent years on my journey I’ve embraced speaking as an open book; when previously I felt guarded, show no weakness, no mercy, believing I was something so strong and special. That was BS. Mental health is real, and vulnerability is what gave me the strength to get through my darkest times. Not just with others, but with myself, accepting my flaws and choosing to love myself. It was thanks to other peoples strength to be vulnerable, that gave me the strength to open up about my own struggles - I want to pass that on to whoever needs it, so I’m an open book!

We get into it all in this podcast, the highs of how we (myself and the incredible support team around me), built a plan to pull off the seemingly impossible and win gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics - as a full time cook come scooter kid. To the crippling burnout and ego death that followed years later, how I turned it around, to present day and looking to the future.

Thank you Brant for being so awesome, doing everything you do for Bmx and welcoming me onto the pod.
